The protagonist of our film is Mercedes. The inciting incident is that she has an obsessive friend named Christine. Mercedes's goal is to retain a healthy friendship with Christine. The conflict is that Christine wants Mercedes all to herself. This helped us create our logline: Mercedes has an obsessive friend named Christine and aims to keep a healthy friendship with her, even though Christine wants Mercedes all to herself. The two friends have an odd friendship with each other as Christine is in love with Mercedes, but Mercedes does not feel the same attraction towards Christine. Christine is filled with jealousy as Mercedes is much closer friends with Lizzy. Their friendship infuriates Christine, which leads her to do horrifying actions towards Lizzy. Christine's behaviors play a huge role in the story as she is determined to be Mercedes's one and only friend.
